Twisby Records was born in 2020 when two friends, who were both audio engineers for a well-known production company, found themselves unemployed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They understood that the music industry was not helping the DIY musician or smaller musicians, and they wanted to set a new standard for how artists should be treated. This sparked the idea to start a label/studio hybrid of their own. Our name, “Twisby,” stands for “The Way It Should Be, Yes?” and reflects our commitment to putting the artist first.
