Kreg Durant is an Army infantry veteran and audio engineer from Wills Point, Texas. He attended the Art Institute of San Diego for a Bachelor’s of Science in Audio Engineering. He has worked in world class studios like Signature Sound, and Noize Factory. He has also worked with artists and brands of all calibers in arenas, stadiums, and festivals. He started his audio career as a self-employed freelancer in San Diego recording studios. From there he moved to live sound, because “There’s just a magic that surrounds live music”. Now he is bringing his knowledge and passion back to the studio, in an attempt to help upcoming artists have a chance in the dog eat dog world that is the music industry. He started his journey as a musician that was just trying to absorb as much knowledge as he could, but at some point he realized he had a new passion. He has spent the last 16 years trying to figure out how the industry ticks so you don’t have to.
